I have been with TXU Energy for over 20 years and very rarely had any issues with them
If I ever did have an issue or concern, TXU was Excellent at helping me through to a solution or to understanding what I needed to know
I almost always dealt with my payments through the TXU Energy Virtual Assistant which actually worked Very Well every time and was very easy to follow
I have a high level of Trust with TXU Energy that they have earned from me for over 20 years

If you need to call customer service, be forwarned that you will be sent to an OFFSHORE call center where you will try to communicate with a representative whose first language IS NOT ENGLISH. But it gets worse. These (low cost) customer service centers use a VOIP (voice over internet protocol) connection which is ALWAYS one of poor audio quality. Gets even worse...the representatives you reach, whose English you will struggle to understand, all use a headset to answer calls which (based on the quality of audio) was purchased in bulk from Radio Shack shortly after they filed for bankruptcy!!!! I spent nearly 25 minutes subjected to this ridiculous farce of a customer service experience and now when I see a TV ad for companies like Consumer Cellular who include in their commercial the fact that they offer "US-based customer service" I understand why they feel this is IMPORTANT.....because Americans are sick and tired of companies who farm out their CS centers to these low cost and clearly INFERIOR operations located in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, India and Timbuktu!!! (yes, that means you too HP, GE, etc. etc. etc.)

These people are thieves. Not only do they strip us with their electricity rates, but once we changed to Texas Energy at half the price, they tried to aggravate our situation by damaging our credit score.
There is no way to discuss the charges they were trying to apply. No nothing. They just don't care. This company is blatantly composed of thieves. It is astounding.
